3-Point Brush brush Mower

A brush mower is a heavy-duty implement designed for cutting dense vegetation and land clearing. Unlike finish or reel mowers, it uses large cutting blades mounted on a reinforced steel deck and is typically driven through a PTO gearbox and attached using a Category 1 or Category 2 three-point hitch.

It is intended for cutting tall grass, thick weeds, brush, saplings, and general overgrown vegetation in unmanaged or semi-managed land areas.

Brush mowers are commonly used for clearing abandoned fields, farm boundaries, roadside vegetation, orchards, and overgrown lots. Depending on the model, they can handle woody growth such as thick weeds, brush, and small saplings ranging from approximately 1 to 3 inches (2.5–7.5 cm) in diameter.

These machines are available in various cutting widths, typically ranging from 48 inches to over 72 inches, with larger batwing-style models extending up to 10–15 feet for high-efficiency clearing of large areas.
