What Smartravel’s warranty does not cover:

  • Wear parts: tires, inner tubes, spokes and brake pads

  • Damage from abuse, neglect, misuse, an accident, stunt riding or ramp jumping
  • Damage from water, from improper charging or from a charger Smartravel or its dealers did not supply
  • Third-party parts, and any part that has been modified or tampered with
  • Lost or damaged keys or NFC card
  • Electrical parts repaired or modified by someone Smartravel has not authorized (that voids the warranty)

Owning it in your state

Federal law defines a “low-speed electric bicycle” as a vehicle with a motor under 750 watts and a maximum motor-powered speed under 20 mph (15 U.S.C. § 2085(b)). This unit is published at 1200W in its description and 1500W peak in its headline figures, with a 32 mph top speed, above that federal threshold, so state law — not the federal low-speed-bicycle carve-out — governs where and how you can ride it.

The detail for where you ride is in our state-by-state e-bike law guide.

How to read this spec sheet

Smartravel’s pages give more than one figure for some specs on this model; the list below gives both, and the one the table above uses.

  • Motor and battery: the listing’s description gives a 1200W motor and a 48V 20Ah (960 Wh) battery; its headline figures and spec list give 1500W peak and 48V 25.6Ah (1,228.8 Wh); its FAQ describes a 48V 15Ah battery. The table prints the first two.
  • Range: 30+ miles on the throttle and 50+ with pedal assist in the description; up to 60 miles on the motor alone and over 80 with pedal assist in the feature copy; 60–80 miles in the FAQ.
  • Drivetrain: the description’s technical details give 1 speed, and Smartravel’s condition note says the rear derailleur is not the 7-speed the listing names.
  • Smartravel’s Warranty & Return Policy sets 12 months for every component and the battery. Its product pages also print ‘1-year all-inclusive’ (with batteries and free accessories outside ‘the warranty service’), ‘a 2-year warranty for each ebike’, and, on the Rocket ST201F and DK400, 18 months. We plan to the policy’s 12 months; if a longer term matters to you, tell us and we will put the question to Smartravel in writing before you order.

Frequently asked questions

Is the 80% new Rocket ST201F in stock?

No. Smartravel’s listing shows it sold out as of October 18, 2026. The new Rocket ST201F is in stock from $799.99, or email us and we will tell you when Smartravel restocks this unit.

What does ‘80% new’ mean on this listing?

Smartravel’s SKU label reads ‘single-drive, 80% new’: a used unit with one motor, at $949.99 against a regular $2,199.99. Its note on the listing says the unit is about 80% new and that its rear derailleur is not the 7-speed the listing names.

Is this the same bike as the standard Rocket ST201F?

It is a used Rocket ST201F with one motor, about 80% new. Smartravel’s note says its rear derailleur is not the 7-speed the listing names, and the listing’s description gives 1 speed, so ask us about the drivetrain before you order one. The new Rocket ST201F is in stock from $799.99.

What is this unit’s warranty?

The listing’s description states 18 months; Smartravel’s warranty policy states 12 months for the original owner, and a help block on the page mentions 2 years. Plan around 12 months, and ask us to confirm in writing how the policy applies to a used unit before you order one.

Smartravel lists this unit with a 1200W motor (1500W peak) and a 32 mph top speed. Federal law’s low-speed electric bicycle has a motor of less than 750 watts and a top speed of less than 20 mph on motor power alone (15 U.S.C. § 2085(b)), so this unit sits outside that definition and your state’s law decides where you can ride it. Email us and we will read your state’s rules with you.

How we verified this page. Every specification above was read from an archived copy of Smartravel’s own product page (www.smartravelor.com/products/smartravel-rocket-st201f-80-new), retrieved September 25, 2026 and re-checked against the live page on October 18, 2026. The price was matched to Smartravel’s own on October 18, 2026, read from its product page and its official catalog feed, and the warranty terms from its Warranty & Return Policy the same day.

Every figure is the manufacturer’s own rating, verified against its pages; where those pages give two figures for one spec, the “How to read this spec sheet” section prints both.
