Built on the same proven chassis as the GT 30H, it is powered by a Stiga ST 550 twin-cylinder engine, providing smooth and reliable performance for medium to large gardens.

Equipped with a 98 cm (38.5″) twin-blade cutting deck, the GT 38H produces an excellent cut quality while anti-scalp wheels help maintain an even finish across uneven terrain. Grass clippings are efficiently collected into a spacious 240-litre rear collection box, which includes a convenient fill-level buzzer to alert the operator when emptying is required.

Designed for ease of use, the mower features an electromagnetic blade engagement system activated by a simple switch, along with a hydrostatic transmission operated via foot pedal for smooth forward and reverse control. A 7-position cutting height adjustment system (25–80 mm) allows precise control over lawn appearance throughout the season.

Optional accessories such as a mulching kit, deflector, and tow hitch enhance versatility, making this mower suitable for a variety of garden tasks including towing and mulching.
